HETAUDA NAGARPALIKA

हेटौंडा नगरपालिका मकवानपुर जिल्लाको सदरमुकाम हो । यो नगर भौगोलीक रूपमा भित्री मधेस भनिने चितवन उपत्यका (नारायणी पुर्वी राप्ती उपत्यका पनि भनिने)को पुर्वी छेउ चुरेपाहडी श्रृङखला सँग जोडएर रहेको छ । यो मध्य नेपालको प्रमुख वाणिज्य तथा यातायात केन्द्र हो । यो महेन्द्र राजमार्ग तथा त्रिभुवन राजपथको मिलन विन्दुमा अवस्थित छ । यस नगरपालिकामा ११ वडामा ९८ हजार ३ सय ९४ जनसंख्या छ । यहाँ हिन्दू, बौद्ध, मुस्लिम, क्रिश्चियन धर्मावलम्बी छन् ।


इतिहास
महाभारतमा आधारित किंवदन्ती अनुसार पाँच पाण्डव वनबासको क्रममा यस स्थानमा आइपुगेका र हेडम्बा राक्षससँग युद्ध हुँदा भीमसेनले हेडम्बालाई तत्कालै मारेकाले हेडम्बाबाट अपभ्रंस भई हेटौंडा भएको हो । हेडम्बाकी बहिनी भूटनदेवीको नामबाट स्थापित भूटनदेवी मन्दिर यस नगरपालिकाको वडा नं. १० मा अस्थित छ, जहाँ दैनिक पूजाआजा गरिनुका साथै यससँग सम्बन्धित पर्व पनि मनाइन्छ । नेपाल सरकारले वि.सं. २०२६ वैशाखमा हेटौंडालाई तत्कालीन नगरपञ्चायतका रूपमा घोषणा गरेको थियो । तत्कालीन हेटौंडा नगरपञ्चायतका प्रथम प्रधानपञ्चमा वासुदेव रिजाल र दोस्रोमा ओमनाथ पराजुली हुन । देशमा बहुदलीय प्रजातन्त्रको स्थापनापछि हेटौंडा नगरपालिकाका प्रमुखमा डोरमणि पौडेल, उपप्रमुख हरिबहादुर महतसहित दुई अवधिका लागि निर्वाचित हुनुभएको थियो ।मकवारपुरको पुर्वी गा. बि. स. मनहारि वाडा नुम्बेर् ३ म मेरो घर् परदछ मेरो घर् को बरेम भनूपर्द मकवन्पुर् यीअक् दम् रम्रो गाउ हो

HSM is not a new name in the field of education in Makawanpur district. It won't go wrong if we claim that HSM had started providing the quality education in this locality for the first time. HSM is the first which proved that the students can pursue qualitative education in minimum fee structure. Now, it stands itself with the identity of a college of 'Complete Education Provider'.
'Strict Discipline, Quality Education' is our motto. This college has been able to succeed to maintain its motto by following stepwise success-strategies. We are able to run the classes from Grade 11 to Master's Degree Levels (Sociology/Anthropology, English, Physical Education, EPM, English education and Population). The credit of our success undoubtedly goes to our students, teachers and the citizen from Makawanpur and its surrounding districts.
Now the college has shifted to its own building with all academic facilities. We are committed to begin something new every year. As a result, from this year, we have kept forward the vision of 'Online Education'. As Nepal has no specifically defined policy for online education, we were to face many hurdles to shape up our vision at the beginning. But, now, due to the amazing labor made by our teachers, our dream has turned into reality. lndustrial site of Hetauda

Hetauda is one of the biggest industrial site of Nepal. Here are many major factory of Nepal for example Hetauda cement factory,Uniliver factory etc. kamane is the biggest industrial area of Hetauda. It is about 5 or 6 km far from Hetauda. Uniliver factory is in Basamadi. It is also an industrial area. In my opinion Hetauda should be a biggest industrial city because here are lack of fertile land which can use for factory. It is near from India so we can easily get raw materials from India and forest also.the infa struchture of hetauda cement factory is the biggest area and building having factory.it is situated in padam pokhari.
